I'm excited to give my personal spin to the role of Mitch Mahoney. The role is normally cast as a large black male. Vocally it is a challenge and I am excited to have this be the stage where I begin my "come-back" to performing.  I took some time off for life and this was the first thing that came across my radar when I started looking for local audition opportunities.

 

Bit of a funny story really - I was so late to schedule the audition; the admin said "I'm sorry, but it doesn't sound like you're ready to audition. Maybe try for the next show... However, a spot opened up at the time you requested, so if you'd like to attend, you may." In my mind, I only wanted to audition! I had no thoughts of the future possibility of being in a show; especially not at my first attempt at singing and dancing after a decade off. Well, worked out and I had a blast. I continue to have a great time with the amazing cast and crew of this production. I hope to see you there!
